POWER AND FUEL EFFICIENCY – REDUCING CONSUMPTION BY 20%
We have gained extensive experience working with Chinese vehicles and received a lot of feedback from our clients. Now we can confidently say that fuel consumption can be reduced after a chip tuning procedure. We’re talking about a solid 20%, and in some cases, this figure can be even higher.
We were able to achieve this result on all Chinese engines with 2-liter displacement.
Moreover, fuel consumption decreases both at calm cruising speeds and in fast driving modes. For example, on our Tank 300 we see an average consumption of 10–12 liters per 100 km.
A logical question may arise: the car has become more powerful, so how can it consume less fuel?
Let’s break down all the details:
First, the vehicle’s software contains special control algorithms that can be adjusted by selecting optimal settings — so-called keys. We configure these algorithms to improve engine performance and increase efficiency, which ultimately helps reduce fuel consumption.
Second, the program changes we make during installation lead to an increase in the engine’s efficiency (thermal efficiency) and torque. This means that to drive as before, you no longer need to press the accelerator as hard. As a result, less fuel is used.
It’s worth emphasizing that the quality of the fuel itself also matters. From our personal experience, we recommend Rosneft, Gazprom, Lukoil. Their fuel has proven to perform well both in terms of dynamics and consumption.
