Toyota is preparing to return to the Russian market, with priority models being the Camry and Celica, while others will follow later.
The company has submitted over 20 applications to Rospatent to register trademarks for its vehicles. The list includes familiar models to Russian customers, such as Camry, Supra, and Land Cruiser, as well as rarer or discontinued models, like Starlet and Celica, whose potential return has sparked interest among enthusiasts.
The applications also feature new projects: the BZ electric vehicle series, the compact Yaris Cross SUV, and even the unique C+Walk electric scooter.
This active refresh of the trademark portfolio may indicate a long-term strategy for the Russian market, despite the temporary suspension of sales. Toyota continues to strengthen its legal position, keeping opportunities open for a potential return.
