Toyota has officially unveiled the sixth generation of the RAV4, which is now available exclusively in hybrid versions. The manufacturer has moved away from traditional internal combustion engines, focusing instead on eco-friendly and fuel-efficient technologies.
On the outside, the new RAV4 stands out with a large grille, sculpted hood, massive bumper with a wide air intake, and signature C-shaped LED headlights. The wheel arches have taken on a more squared shape, and the rear lights feature vertical LED strips. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a prominent spoiler that emphasizes its dynamic design.
The lineup includes three hybrid configurations powered by a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors. The front-wheel-drive version delivers around 225 hp, while the all-wheel-drive version reaches up to 232 hp. This setup ensures strong performance and fuel efficiency.
There is no official information yet on a fully electric version, but rumors about its potential release continue to circulate. Sales of the new RAV4 will begin in fall 2025, with an estimated starting price of around $30,000.
Main competitors for the model remain the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Subaru Forester, Kia Sportage, and Hyundai Tucson.
